David A. East, 59, of LaGrange, GA passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. East was born September 8, 1961 to the late Arlies Guy East and Dorothy Barnett Sanders East. He was a Master Mechanic and worked at Jamie’s Automotive until his health declined. He enjoyed racing and won several races during his time on the tracks. David took great delight in praising the Lord. He will be truly missed by all that knew him.

Survivors include his daughter, Lindy Davis; son, Murphy East; sisters, Kathy Duran, Janet (James) Waldroup, and Debbie (Bo) Morgan; four grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Monday, February 1, 2021 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary.
