Doris May Pittman

Mrs. Pittman was born April 9, 1921 in LaGrange, daughter of the late E. L. May, Sr. and Nona Bell Todd May. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church and. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert L. Pittman, Sr., one sister, and three brothers.

Survivors include three children, Lenora P. Baker, William Allen Pittman, and Hubert Lee Pittman, Jr. and his wife, Deborah, all of LaGrange; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; two sisters, Carmen Schindelholz of Roswell, GA and Lera Cochran of LaGrange; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Unity Baptist Church with Reverend Bobby Robinson, Reverend Doug Bingham, and Reverend Larry Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens. The gathering of family and friends will be this evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
