Mrs. Morrison was born August 29, 1926 in LaGrange, GA to the late John Henry Hester and Leila Scott Hester. She was a co-owner of Morrison’s Grocery and Hardware and a charter member of Ayres Memorial United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in her homegoing by her husband of 67 years, Gerald Morrison, Sr.; son, Gerald Morrison, Jr.; two sisters, Alma (Earl) Hall and Flora (John) Heard; two brothers, Elmer (Maurice) Hester and Charlie Will (Patricia) Hester.
She is survived by a brother, Freddie (Pat) Hester; daughter-in-law, Tora Morrison; granddaughters, Adrienne Morrison of Columbia, SC and Jennifer (Adam) Maskill of Fort Mill, SC; one great grandson, Hudson Maskill; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside Services will be held 11:00am Friday, October 30, 2020 in Restlawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Wayne Hester officiating.
