Evelyn Marie Gross

Mrs. Gross was born August 31, 1965 in LaGrange, daughter of the late Charles Henry Blakley and Barbara Mae Jacks Blakley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Blakley and Henry Blakley.

Survivors include her husband, David V. Gross of Greenville, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and Jason Parsley of LaGrange; son, David “Boo Boo” Gross and his girlfriend, Melinda Newman, of Greenville, GA; three grandchildren, Matthew Parsley, Karley Parsley, and Dessalyn Gross; grandmother, Frances Lawhorn; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M. Saturday, January 16, 2016 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Chaplain Kenneth Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Hillview East Cemetery. The gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 6:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
