Mrs. Mallory was born June 26, 1915 in Wedowee, AL, daughter of the late R.E. Ware and Lucy Yarborough Ware. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Prattville, AL. Mrs. Mallory was employed with West Georgia Medical Center as the dietary clerk until her retirement in 1995. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Mallory, and her son, Richard Mallory.
Survivors include a grandson, David L. Mallory and his wife, Brenda, of Prattville, AL; three great grandchildren, Crystal Wright, Richard David Mallory, and Nicole Mallory; one great great granddaughter, Zoi Jane Moon; and one sister, Edith Hardman of LaGrange.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. till the funeral hour of 11:00 A.M.
