Freddie Sue Green Schick

Mrs. Schick was born April 8, 1923 in Randolph County, AL, daughter of the late Clifford Lee Green and Idell Owens Green. She was a member of Rosemont Baptist Church and was employed with Callaway Mills for 17 years and LaGrange Academy for 22 years before retiring. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Melvin L. Green.

Survivors include her husband, Carl G. Schick of LaGrange; daughter, Carla Rhodes and her husband Jimmy of LaGrange; son, Mark Schick and his wife Nancy of Cumming, GA; three grandchildren, Zack Rhodes of LaGrange, Lisa Schick of Cumming, GA, and Trent Schick of Cummings, GA; special cousins, Joan Carter, Donna Holloway, and Lynn McClendon, all of LaGrange; and one niece, Lynn Hand of Ashland, AL.

The funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 10, 2013 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Reverend Max McCord and Reverend Adam Camp officiating. The gathering of family and friends will be from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home on Sunday. Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery.
