

Mrs. Stanfield was born July 25, 1944 in LaGrange, GA, daughter of the late Johnny and Frankie Turner Sims. She gave her life to the Lord and was a member of Harrisonville Baptist Church. Mrs. Stanfield was employed for a number of years as a Division Secretary at Texas Instruments, a Purchasing Agent for Applied Research Lab at the University of Texas and also as a Secretary at the Milliken Design Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her in-laws, Clyde and Thelma Powell Higgins, her niece, Amanda Sims, brother-in-law, Rev. W.T. Bates, and nephew, Ricky Turner.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Stanfield; siblings, Shelia Bates and Jeffrey Sims, former sister-in-law, Debbie McIntyre; children, Bobby Dwayne Stanfield and his girlfriend Melissa Mastan, Donna Elinda Stanfield, and Stephen Craig Stanfield; close friend, Charlotte Motsinger; grandchildren, Rebecca Stanfield and her fiancé James Portwood, Jeffrey Stanfield and his girlfriend Tiffany Wimbush, P.J. Haun and his wife Michelle, Benjamin Lee Haun and his wife Veranikah Koren, Sarah Elizabeth Stanfield, Hannah Holder Stanfield; honorary grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Jaden, and Jeffrey Jr. Stanfield and Elijah Haun; aunt, Ruby Turner; nieces and nephews, Tina Bates Turner and family, Shane Bates (Terri Lea) and family, Denise Bates Wright (Billy) and family, Angie Sims Phillips (Tom) and family, Monty Sims (Kodie) and family, and numerous cousins.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Brother Eddie Wood officiating. Burial will be in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The gathering of Family and Friends will be from 10:00A.M. until service time on Tuesday.
