Hubert Nelson Johnson Jr.

Mr. Johnson was born on March 24 1926 in Ellaville Ga, Son of the late Hubert Nelson Johnson Sr. and Elizabeth Story Johnson.

Mr. Johnson is preceded in death by his wife Cenus Agnes Pitts Johnson and son Stephen R. Johnson.

Survivors include son Michael Johnson, grandson Steve Johnson (Becky), Granddaughter Paula Johnson, grandson Tim Johnson, granddaughter Angela Johnson Skipper , granddaughter Telina Johnson Robinson(Robbie ), 13 Great Grandchildren, 19 Great Great Grandchildren, Sister Vivian Elizabeth Clemonts and sister-in-law June Johnson.

Mr. Johnson was employed with Milliken/Callaway for 46½ years where he served as a supervisor. Mr. Johnson also served his country during WWII in the Navy. Mr. Johnson was a member of Dunson Baptist Church and the McDonald’s Breakfast Club.

Celebration of Life services will be held 3:00P.M. Sunday July 9, 2017 in the Chapel of Striffler- Hamby Mortuary. Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery, LaGrange GA. The gathering of family and friends will be Sunday July 9, 2017 from 2:00P.M. to 3:00P.M. at the funeral home.
