Hughey Leon Duncan Jr.

Mr. Duncan was born July 1, 1941 in LaGrange, GA to the late Hughey Leon Duncan, Sr. and Clara Mae “Mary” Byrd Duncan. He was previously employed with Rubbermaid and was an avid fisherman and hunter. Hughey enjoyed working with and training beagles for rabbit hunting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Caldwell; brother, Donald “Donnie” Joe Duncan; sisters, Janet Noles, Cathy Hart, Deanna Smith, Judy Duncan; and lifelong companion, Edith Delaine Bailey.

Survivors include his son, Lewis Duncan; grandchildren, Travis (Kelly) Caldwell, Gabby (Wally) Barrett, and Eric Duncan; great grandchildren, Jude Barrett, James Clark, and Kaley Clark; sisters, Debra “Debbie” Moss and Linda (Raymond) Battaglia; brother, Michael “Mike” (Debby) Duncan; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Private Graveside Service for Hughey Leon Duncan, Jr. will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, April 10, 2020 at Shadowlawn Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts may be made to Gideons’ International in memory of Hughey Leon Duncan, Jr.
