Jeffery Scott Thompson

Scott was born August 9, 1968 in Atlanta, GA and was an Electrician for Herr Electric. Survivors include his wife, Denise McWhorter Thompson; daughter, Rene Nelson; sons, Scotty Thompson, Christopher Thompson, and Jack Thompson; granddaughter, Gracie Nelson; Father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ricky and Carol McWhorter; mother-in-law, Toni McWhorter; brother-in-law, Jonathan Register; sister-in-law, Vicki Cupps; several siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including special friends, Henri Laster, George Moore, and Mike Dollar. Scott was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Thompson.

The Gathering of Family and Friends will be Friday, September 10, 2021 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home. The Funeral Service will be 3:00pm Saturday, September 11, 2021 in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in Meadoway Gardens.
