Joshua "Josh" Barrett Anderson

Josh was born November 24, 1989 in Valley, AL.

He is survived by his children, Axel Anderson and Payton Anderson; fiancé, Christina Yarbrough; parents, Barry Anderson and CJ Anderson; mother, Cathy Jean Stapler; sisters, Kenzi (Richard) Morgan, Tori (Hunter) Whitaker; brothers, Robby Mason and Zach Anderson; uncle, Johnny (Dawn) Stapler; real brothers in Life Richard Morgan and Zachary Dagenhart; several nieces, nephews and cousins along with many friends.

All those who knew Josh loved and respected him. He was funny and witty yet charming and intelligent. He could build or fix anything he put his hands on. He was literally the “jack of all trades.” His children were his world for sure. He was a Georgia Bulldog fan and loved his Harley Davidson motorcycle. So many looked up to him, respected him and revered him. He was an amazing daddy, an amazing man and an amazing human being who will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 6:00 P.M. Thursday, February 8, 2024 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary in LaGrange, GA. A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place prior to the service from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
