Karen Arlene Barnes

Karen was born November 9, 1961 in Franklin, GA and was formerly employed with Aerotron Airpower.

Survivors include her husband, Greg Barnes; children, Amanda (John) Davis, Robert Allen (Christa) Poindexter, Jr., and Amber Nicole Lindsey; mother, Jeanette Mashburn; father, Wayne Jones; grandchildren, Trey Poindexter, Hayden Flagg, Eric Lindsey, Gavin Poindexter, Kara Lindsey, and Candice Davis; brothers, Tony Jones, Dean Jones, Lane Jones, Dale Jones, Scott Parrott, and Donald Parrott; sister, Shantel Neese; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 29, 2013 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Reverend Jimmy McMillian officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin City Cemetery. The gathering of family and friends will be Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to a favorite charity in memory of Mrs. Karen Arlene Barnes.
