Kenneth "Kenny" Wiley Cofield

Mr. Cofield was born March 3, 1964 in LaGrange, GA, son of Linda Smith Yates and the late James Wiley Cofield. He was a member of Rest Haven Baptist Church in Rest Haven, GA. Kenny moved away with his parents to Sugar Hill, GA in 1971 and returned to LaGrange in 2008. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a sister, Sonja Cher Cofield; brother, Michael Brandon Cofield; paternal grandfather, Wilson Freeman Cofield; paternal grandmother, Lucille Head Cofield; maternal grandfather, Allen Smith; maternal grandmother, Doris Maxine Browning Goodwin and several uncles, aunts and cousins.

Survivors include his son, Dustin Lee “Dusty” Cofield; mother, Linda Smith Yates; stepfather, George Anthony “Bud” Yates; stepsister, Erin Yates; step brother, Shannon Yates; other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, February 26, 2015 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Reverend Brad Thompson and Reverend Charles Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in Hillview East Cemetery.The gathering of family and friends will be from 1:00 pm until service time on Thursday.
