Martha Irene "Bobbie" Hembree

Mrs. Hembree was born December 25, 1938 in Villa Rica, GA, daughter of the late Hoke Smith and Elizabeth Morris Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Hembree, and two brothers, Buddy Smith and Richard Arlan Smith.

Survivors include six children, Michael Thomas (Gail) Hembree of LaGrange, Tommy James (Beth) Hembree of Manchester, GA, Anthony Wayne (Geneva) Hembree of LaGrange, Eddie Darrell (Dennie) Hembree of LaGrange, Robert Lynn Hembree of Macon, GA, and Janice Carol (Pat) Maddox of LaGrange; siblings, Jean Cannon of Midland, GA, Jimmy (Carol) Smith of Columbus, GA, Tony Smith of Columbus, Connie (Roy) Williams of Cataula, GA, Johnny (Dorothy) Smith of Villa Rica, GA, and Kathey (Mike) Leese of Villa Rica, GA; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 1, 2013 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Bishop David Cross officiating. The gathering of family and friends will be on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
