Mickey was born February 26, 1951 in LaGrange, son of the late Henry Roy Jones and Sarah Louise Chipman Jones. He was employed with Tredegar Industries as a supervisor before retiring. After his retirement from Tredegar, he was employed with Piggly Wiggly.
Survivors include four children, Mike (Angie) Jones, Chris (Christie) Jones, Brandon (Melinda) Jones, and Scott (Kim) Jones; 16 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Darlene Brown.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 24, 2015 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Reverend Joel Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery. The gathering of family and friends will be Saturday from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
