

Mildred was born February 10, 1930, in Atlanta, Georgia, the late William Ernest Watkins and Susie Sunbeam Reason.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E Lynch; sisters, Helen Watkins Kirby, Blanche Watkins Sams and brothers, Carl Watkins and Bobby Watkins.
Mildred was a proud and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was very involved with her church and served as a pianist, organist and Sunday School teacher. After retiring from Callaway and Milliken Mills, she worked as the church custodian. She was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed every minute she spent with her family. Mildred will be missed by all who knew her but leaves a cherished legacy behind.
Mildred is survived by her brother; Douglas Eugene Watkins; daughters, Susan (Danny) Smith and Cindy (Jay) Ellis; sons, David (Leighann) Lynch and Danny Lynch; grandchildren, Holly (Ted) Smith Gipson, Natalie (Matt) Smith Atkinson, Justin (Tiffany) Cardwell and Josh (Krystal) Cardwell; eleven greatgrandchildren and three great-greatgrandchildren.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, May 3, 2025, in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, LaGrange, GA. The Graveside Funeral Service will be held 11:30 AM at Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange, GA.
