Nancy Miles

Nancy Turner Miles, age 88, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026. She was born on April 6, 1937, in LaGrange, Georgia. A lifelong Georgia resident, Nancy had a deep love for her family and friends, gardening, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs. She was known for her dedication to her work and for being a respected professional within her community.

Nancy is survived by her daughter-in-law, Sonya Miles; her grandchildren, William Miles; Ted Miles and his wife, Christian, along with their children, Foley and Weston Miles; and Mary Kate Miles. She is also survived by her sisters, Brenda Lee and Joann Coe; her stepchildren, Lyle Booker, Russell Booker, and Dave Booker and his wife, Jen Booker; and her step-grandchildren, Tinsley Harrison, Matthew Booker, Ava Booker, Trae Booker, and Kate Booker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice Brannon and Richard Turner; her first husband, William Sherrill Miles; her son, William Turner Miles; her husband, Davis Booker; and her brothers and sisters, Richard Turner Jr., Donald Turner, Francis England, Doris Doster, and Pete Turner.

Nancy took great joy in spending time with her nieces and nephews, whom she loved as her own. She cherished family gatherings and maintained close relationships across generations.

Nancy will be remembered for her devotion to and love of her family, her strong work ethic, and the warmth she extended to all who knew her. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Striffler-Hamby Chapel, located at 1010 Mooty Bridge Road in LaGrange, Georgia, on January 23, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will begin at 1:00 p.m., with committal services to follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.
