Pecola Ayers

A time to rest, Pecola departed this life on March 9,2025 at West Georgia Hospice in LaGrange, GA surrounded by her loved ones.

A time to remember and cherish her everlasting memories, her husband, Anthony Ayers of LaGrange, GA; her daughters, Semetrius Martin (Kari) and Iesha Martin Foster (Brandon) both of LaGrange, GA; three grandchildren, Chloe, Christina and Cienna; two sisters, Mary Phillips and Williene Howard (Richie); two brothers, Willie Martin (Melissa) and Vinson Martin as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary in LaGrange, GA. Her Life Celebration Service will begin at 1:00 PM. On Friday, March 14, 2025 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary.
