I was married to Phil briefly, although we were friends prievously. I was shocked when I found out that he passed away. May God bring peace to his family and friends. Our prayers and deepest sympathies are with Diane and the rest of Phil's family, friends, and colleagues during this somber and difficult time.  We at the Merck Cherokee plant in Danville, PA who had the honor and privilege to meet and know Phil were deeply shocked and saddened to learn of his sudden and untimely passing.

Phil was clearly highly accomplished and talented in his field, very well-travelled, and an individual who demonstrated the utmost of honesty and integrity.  He had visited our plant a couple times since Sept 2014 for project planning meetings, and immediately earned our trust and respect.  It was a pleasure conversing with him during those visits and subsequent teleconferences over the last year, and we had been looking forward to seeing him again in PA this summer, potentially next week.
  
He will be sorely missed, and fondly remembered for the honorable and stellar person that he was.

Today, we should have been travelling to meet up with Phil & Di in Venice for another holiday adventure. We still can't believe that Phil is no longer here. 
I've known Phil for some 50 years and have many happy memories of our times walking and climbing in the Lake District and beyond in those early years.
Our friendship was rekindled some 6 years ago and since then we feel fortunate to have enjoyed some fantastic and memorable holidays - most recently in Acapulco with Phil and Di.
Phil, our good friend, you are going to be sorely missed.

I'm so sorry to hear this news. You and Phil were such positive influences on me during my time in LaGrange. I always enjoyed spending time with the two of you and really appreciated working and learning under Phil. I still value the lessons I learned under him. Of course my family and I are available if you need anything and we'll be sure and pass by when we're in town this summer. 
My condolences

Phil and I worked together in Arescon Bahrain for a couple of years. We were also opponents at squash, snooker, and pool. He was a source of fun, quick witted, and a prankster. We continued to work together in ACE, where he was tenacious (as ever) to develop business in Iraq.
I look back fondly on all of this time, and I am shocked by this tragedy. My heart goes out to Di and his family, sincere condolences.

Phil was a good man. Rest in peace and my condolences to his family.

Diane, I am so sorry that we have never had an opportunity to meet you. Anne and I were planning to visit Phil in Atlanta next year and this comes as a huge shock to us both. Phil and I both served our apprenticeship at Sellafield and followed similar career paths in the measurement and control industry. Phil worked in the Middle East and I worked in Central Africa. Phil, my brother, you have left us way too soon.  I feel blessed to have known you and worked with you for many years.  You were not only a business colleague but a friend. Diane, So sorry to hear of Phil's passing.  I knew Phil all my life.  We were born within months of each other and were brought up by our respective families in a small community just outside Workington, Cumbria - I am sure you know it well.  We played together as children and frequented the same youth clubs and discos as we grew up into adults.  Sadly our lives then took us in different directions and to different parts of the world. Phil was our first friend we made when we moved to LaGrange over 16 years ago.  He has been a constant source of fun and true caring all these years.  Our hearts are broken, but he will forever live in our hearts.

I have known brother Phil since 1987... we met in Baghdad and I always prayed we meet again there in better circumstances to grant him his wish.... Phil and I were colleagues at Milliken for 12 years and friends for the last 20 years.  Phil was was a giving, caring friend who would do anything for you. He was always the life of a party with his quick wit and funny stories. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Sending heartfelt condolences to Phil's family, colleagues & friends.  He was part of the ABB sales team that worked with us over the last few years, and visited  our site several times. Always cheerful and witty, but keenly aware of customer issues and able to understand and resolve all manner of detailed questions.  A great professional; he was great to work with and we will certainly miss him.

Phil was great colleague. Compassionate, understanding and knowledgeable. He was fast becoming a good friend before he was taken away so needlessly. I will miss his wit, wisdom and our personal conversations.

Phil was a customer of mine when he worked at Milliken. He soon became a friend, a colleague, and a mentor to me at ABB. Phil will be greatly missed by all of us who had the pleasure of knowing him.

I am yet to come to terms with the news of Phil's passing away. He was always known to be a tough person with a never-say-die attitude. At work, he took challenges head on and was relentless in his efforts. His passing away will definitely leave a void with all of us that will be hard to fill. May his soul rest in peace.

Working with Phil was always a pleasure and sometimes challenging with his attention to detail and his many questions. Being an old MOD Taylor friend, I will miss our talks, mostly about business, but also our discussions on everyday life.

I enjoyed working with Phil at ABB.  He had a great a passion for his work and will be sorely missed.  My sympathies go out to his family.
