Roy Lee Jackson III

Roy was born November 26, 1973 in Pembroke, KY, son of Terri D. Scarborough and the late Roy Lee Jackson II. He was a previous member of Teaver Road Baptist Church and loved his children and grandchildren. Roy was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed boating and fishing. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; his brothers, William Edward “Willie B” Benefield and Erick Johnathon Benefield.

Survivors include his parents, Terri and Clyde Benefield; three children, Amy (Ricky) Vazquez, Daniel Jackson and Lauren Jackson; grandchildren, Brooklyn Mock, Carlos Zamorano, Jose` Zamorano, Aubriella Jackson, Elijah Jackson, Zoey Zamorano, Cameron Jackson, and Johnathon Holloway; step children, Michael Hockett and Kimberly Coe; mothers of his children, Janet Hockett and Kathy Brooks; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The Celebration of Life Service will be 5:00pm Wednesday, June 29, 2022 in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends from 4:00pm until service time at the funeral home.
