Mrs. Blankenship was born July 10, 1936 in Tupelo, MS. She retired at Kaydon as a Purchasing Agent and a member of The First Baptist Church on the Square. She earned her BS degree in Business at LaGrange College and was preceded in death by a son, Charles Cato and daughter, Toni Simmons.
Survivors include husband, Dale Blankenship; sister, Virginia McCarter; grandson, Jeremy Allen, and a great granddaughter; Ruby Allen.
Funeral service will be held 11:00am Saturday, December 16, 2017 in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary LaGrange Chapel with Rev. Paul Blair officiating. The gathering of family and friends will be on Friday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Burial will be at Restlawn Memory Gardens.
