Alberta "Bertha" Touchet

Mrs. Alberta “Bertha” Touchet, age 95 passed on March 30, 2018. She was born on December 16, 1922 to the late Victorian and Ella Fournerat in Baslie, Louisiana. Bertha graduated from Basile High School.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Conway of Mobile, Alabama; sister, Dorothy Fournerat Miller; three brothers, Cecil Fournerat, Clinton Fournerat and Conway Fournerat.

Mrs. Touchet is survived by her three sons, Larry Soileau, Michael Soileau and Rickie Soileau all of Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Bertha enjoyed working in her flower garden, cooking, baking and having her children over for Sunday dinner.

Funeral Services for Bertha Touchet will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.Visitation will be held on the same day from 9am until 2pm.
