He was a proud Atomic Veteran who proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Glenn was known as "Alligator Man" due to his ability to trap alligators. He was an avid duck hunter and fur trapper. He enjoyed the spending outdoors and planting. Even though he was wheelchair bound his determination was unmatched and never let that stop him from the things that he enjoyed or what he wanted to do.
He had a deep love for the Lord and he always wanted to encourage, uplift, and edify their visitors no matter if they were friends, family, or if they had just met. He prayed often for his family and often prayed for strangers that he would meet. He was the epitome of what a prayer warrior was. He truly loved the Lord with all his heart.
Glenn's family would like to express a thank you to the staff, doctors and nurses of Lake Area Hospital for the care and compassion that was shown to Glenn.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 2:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at Holly Hill Cemetery immediately following services.
