

He was born December 17, 1927 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was honorable discharged from the Marines and Navy. He enjoyed growing plants and is a Past President of Camellia Society. He moved to Lake Charles to be near family after retiring from IBM. He was a graduate of Washington University. He was a lifetime student of History, especially Civil War and Naval History. Also he was an avid sports fan and devoted crossword puzzler.
Survivors include his brother, William A. Wadsack; Nephews, William B. Wadsack and wife, Marilyn Johnson Wadsack, and John Frederick Wadsack and wife, Debbie Shaheen Wadsack; niece, Patricia Louise Wadsack. grand nephews and nieces, Jacob C. Wadsack and wife, Julie Campbell Wadsack, William C. Wadsack and wife, Jennifer Jarnagin, Daniel K. Wadsack, Mary Margaret Salmon and Kathryn Nicole Salmon; great grand nephews and nieces, John Luke Wadsack, Nicholas James Wadsack and Isabel Julia Wadsack.
He is preceded in death by his beloved sister Ruth Wadsack.
A private memorial service for the family will be held Monday at Hixson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Zion Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri. Words of comfort maybe shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
