Born in Leesville, Louisiana, Coralyn was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles and a proud graduate of Lake Charles High School, Class of 1956. The great love of her life was Victor, whom she met on a blind date. Together, they built a life filled with love, faith, and family, creating a home and a business while cherishing every moment together.
Coralyn had a passion for classic movies and the stars who graced the silver screen. She loved traveling—whether by train, RV, or to visit family in Vermont. She found joy in cooking “Mother’s” way and in creating DVDs and greeting cards to capture life’s precious moments for friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Victor E. Kullerd, her parents L. E. (Smitty) Smith and Coryne Phillips deCordova, her younger brother L. E. Smith, Jr., and Victor’s grandson Jamie Lawrence.
She is survived by her sister, Sue Bullock (Bob); Victor’s daughter, Vicki Lawrence (Jim); her niece, Kathryn Evans (Joe); Victor’s granddaughter, Rebecca Lawrence (Justen); and her cherished triplet grandnieces.
Coralyn’s presence left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who loved her.
