Donna Marie Broussard

She was born on December 23, 1961, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to Robert and Joyce Quebedeaux.

Donna was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. She loved fishing, crabbing, listening to cajun french music, spending time with her family, but she especially loved being with her grandchildren!

Donna was preceded in death by her father, her husband of 43 years, Keith Broussard, and grandson, Mitchell D Johnson.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Joyce Hardy Quebedeaux; her children, Christy Johnson (Mitch) and Brian Broussard; her grandchildren, Kristina Johnson (Lonnie Harvey), Hunter Broussard, Steven Johnson and Robert Johnson (Alyssa); her great grandchildren, Chase Shakespeare, Dwayne Harvey, Marquel Harvey and Brycen Johnson; sisters, Sandra Peshoff (Kenneth) and Pat Wherland (Fred); brother, Mark Quebedeaux (Wanda); and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at J.E. Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles. A celebration of Donna's life will begin at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at J.E. Hixson Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery in Lake Charles.
