Lake Charles- On January 16, 2012, the light of our lives was extinguished. The skies have opened up and our Heavenly Father has received her with open arms.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Gerald "Jerry" Kent of Lake Charles; daughters; Jeanie Wolven and husband Barry of Ragley; Pat Everage and husband Jim of Lake Charles; Liz Knowles and husband Rex of Lake Charles; step daughter, Gloria Yannone of Broussard; step son, Gilford Moore of Oakland, Ca; two brothers, seven sisters, thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sons, Willie and Steve Moore and two brothers.
Her services will be Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
