Dorothy Walker Miller

She was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her entire family and especially her care for her disabled son.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her two sons, Ronald J. Miller, Sr. and wife Brenda; Larry W. Miller and wife Sue; two daughters, Marian DeLaune and husband Larry, Loretta Nunnally and husband Skip; sister, Doris Bettis; fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Wilfred Miller; son, Arthur “CoCo” Miller; daughter, Darlene Pascale.

The family wishes to express gratitude for the compassionate care given by Amedisys Hospice as well as the nursing home staff.

Her service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2012, at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Bro. Randy Edwards will officiate. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. and resume Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
