He was born in Evangeline Parish and resided in Lake Charles. He was the owner of Donut King, which he started in 1956 and was a longtime member of Community Christian Church in Lake Charles.
Survivors include his sons, David Veillon and wife, Debra of Lake Charles, James Veillon and wife, Brenda of Lake Charles; sisters, Rita Grace Bishop of Houston, TX, Ramona Hereford of Lake Charles, Sandra Crow of Lake Charles; brother, James Donald Veillon of Alvin, TX; 4 grandchildren and 11 great, grandchildren.
His funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June, 14, 2011 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Visitation will be Monday 6-9 p.m. and Tuesday 8 a.m. til time of service. Burial will be in Black Bayou Cemetery. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
