Eric Linden

Eric was a lifelong resident Big Lake, LA. where he was an avid commercial fisherman. He will be remembered as being a jack of all trades and always being willing to give the shirt off of his back to anyone he could.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Margaret Wannage Hebdon; step father, Larry Theriot; children, Tyler Linden and Zachery Linden; sister, Jessica Bourque; mother of his children, Brandy Smith; niece and nephews, Auston, Alivia, Connor and Jon; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his son, Gavin James Linden; maternal grandparents, Katherine and Frederick Wannage, Sr.; uncles, Willis "Sonny" Rasmussen, Eddie Joe Wannage and David Baker; and aunt, Mary Ellen "Teet" Rasmussen.

The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Thursday, October 16, 2025 beginning at 10:00 a.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m.
