

She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana and lived in Moss Bluff. She was a member of the Catholic Faith. She was a world traveler and lived in the Solomon Islands, Australia, New Guinea, New Zealand and Saudia Arabia. She was an excellent cook and prepared many tasty dishes for family and friends. She enjoyed restoring antique furniture and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and especially adored her dog, Baby Girl. She never met a stranger and always reached out to help others in need.
Survivors include her sons, Timothy Lee Bowling and wife, Chelsy, of Fairhope, AL, Patrick Michael Bowling and wife, Tammy, of Moss Bluff, Michael Wesley Bowling of Moss Bluff; daughter, Pamela Sue Bowling LeDoux and husband, Alvin James of Moss Bluff; brothers, Tom Walker and wife, Lynn of California, Michael Walker and wife, Frances of Fort Wayne, IN, Stephan Walker and wife, Karen of New Haven, IN; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband, Gerald Bowling and daughter, Deborah Ann Bowling.
Her funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Msgr. Charles Dubois will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery.
