He was loved by all his family and all that knew him. The family would like to express their immense gratitude to friends and fellow church members for their help and kinship.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Pamela Sue Bertrand; daughter, Janet Rhodes and husband, Richard of Sulphur; daughter, Josephine Daigle and husband, Thomas of Moss Bluff; daughter, Rebecca Granger and husband, Blaine of Lake Charles; son, Brent Bertrand and wife, Blair of Lake Charles; four grandchildren, Courtney Daigle, Tyler Daigle, Emily Daigle and Mason Bertrand. He was the only child to his loving parents, John and Josephine Bertrand who preceded him in death.
His funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2011 at First Christian Church of Lake Charles. Pastor Don Vernadore will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery.
