

T-Man was born in Cameron, LA and lived his retirement years in Grand Lake. He was a United States Army veteran. He was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Cameron. He was a retired supervisor for Baroid. He loved hunting, fishing, crabbing, crawfishing, cutting grass, drinking coffee, and most of all helping people. He also loved shrimping, cast netting, and playing the lottery with big dreams of winning. He loved his family and especially spending time with his grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be forever remembered for his quick wit and teasing personality. A peacemaker among all, he always saw the best in people. His cooking abilities are unmatched and he could “burn a pot” like no other. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of 44 years, Julia Racca; one son, Terrance Paul Racca and wife, Kristi of Moss Bluff; one daughter, Kristy Smith and husband, Jason of Grand Lake; two brothers, Alfred "Freddie" Racca and wife Sandra of Sweetlake and Donald Olander Racca and wife Christine of Moss Bluff; four grandchildren, Jaylyn Lydia Smith, Gage Joseph Racca, Alexander Paul Racca, and Kamryn McKenzie Booth; numerous nieces and nephews; and family lifelong best friend, Sherry Peshoff.
His service will be 2pm, Tuesday, January 7, at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Wayne Blanchard will officiate. Visitation is from 10am-9pm Monday with a rosary at 6:30pm and will resume Tuesday from 8am until service at the funeral home. Cremation has been entrusted to Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
