She worked as a traffic clerk for Fenton City Hall and she helped the elderly with job placement through the Calcasieu Council on Aging.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Carroll of Lake Charles; nephews, Randy Carroll of Sulphur, Robbie Carroll of Hayes and Carroll Wright of Sulphur; great nephews, Brent Carroll of Hayes and Mikey Savant of Hayes; and great niece, Jelena Carroll. She is preceded in death by her parents, W.J. and Viola Carroll; brothers, Johnny Carroll, Jennings Carroll and Jack Carroll; and sister, Edna Wright.
Her funeral service will be on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Rev Don Willis will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Creel Cemetery in Bel, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
