Katy Mae Richard, age 83, of Deatonville, Louisiana passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024. She was born on September 14, 1940 to Planey and Neles Fontenot in Lake Charles, LA.

Those left to cherish her memory is her brother, David Fontenot of Westlake and sister, Brenda Sue Spearin of Moss Bluff.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Richard and numerous siblings.

The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Monday, September 16, 2024 beginning at 9:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life to begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Prien Memorial Park. Pastor Luke LaCour will officiate at the services.
