

Larry loved to play practical jokes, fishing, cutting grass and being outdoors. His number one priority was spending time with his family and grandchildren which he loved with a passion.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Gladys Oglesby Guilbeau, sons Dwayne Guilbeau and wife Terrell of Grand Lake; Larry Guilbeau, Jr. and wife Madonna of Grand Lake; daughters Denise Guilbeau of Grand Lake and Jessica Guilbeau of Iowa; and 11 grandchildren; Grant and Jed Guilbeau; Sabrina Guilbeau; Destiny Saxby; Carli Saltzman; Alyssa Walker; Cody and Danica Mason and Kason Cooler; Christian and Kyle Moore; and one great-granddaughter, Evelynn, on the way. Godchild, Angie Barfield; brothers Carl Lee Guilbeau and wife DeeDee of Lake Charles; Giz Guilbeau and wife Kathy of Cameron and Butch Guilbeau and wife Joyce of Sulphur. Sisters Beulah Guilbeau of Sulphur; Mary Fontenot of Jennings and Francis Myers and husband Buddy of Jennings. He is preceded in death by his parents Francis and Agnes Guilbeau, sisters LouAnn Guilbeau; Theresa Gotreaux Guilbeau; Mary Quebedeaux; brother John Guilbeau.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 3, 2014 from 9 AM to 3 PM at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles. A rosary will be held at 3 PM followed by a Life Celebration.
