Margaret P. Morgan

She was born in DeQuincy and lived in Lake Charles most of her life. Margaret was a graduate of Lake Charles High School. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She and her late husband, Ray Morgan, Sr. owned and operated Morgan Roofing since 1948. She and Ray Morgan, Sr. loved and enjoyed hunting all over the world. Margaret loved collecting angels and had a deep appreciation for sports. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Survivors include sons, Richard Morgan and Charlotte of Moss Bluff, Robert Morgan and Peggy and Ray Morgan, Jr. and Lisa all of Lake Charles, two sister-in-laws; Gayle Smithwick of South Carolina, Betty Morgan of Lake Charles., one brother-in-law; Cecil Morgan of Lake Charles. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 5p.m. to 8p.m. and Wednesday from 8a.m. until service time at 2p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Burial will be at Prien Memorial Park Cemetery. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
