He was born on May 22, 1987 in Lake Charles, LA to parents Karl and Jamie Styron.
Matthew was a native of Lake Charles, LA and a lifelong resident of Creole, LA. He graduated from South Cameron High School Class of 2006. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Creole, LA and was employed by TIC/Kiewit as a Material Coordinator. Matthew enjoyed spending time with his son especially wrestling, sports, alligator hunting, snow-skiing and cooking for his family.
He is preceded in death by his brother Jody Styron.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents Karl and Jamie Styron of Creole, LA; his son Carter Styron of Lake Charles, LA; his brother Cody Styron and Jaimie of Lake Charles, LA; his two nieces Calla and Kenna; his nephew Kai; his sister-in-law Stephanie Styron; and four sisters-at-Heart: Kelli, Chelsi, Cana, and Meagan.
A visitation will be held Friday October 22, 2021 at 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, LA. with a Rosary at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume at 8 a.m. on Saturday until the time of service at 10 a.m. led by Rev. Jerish George, M.O.C. Burial will immediately follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Creole, LA.
