Nellie Trosclair

She was born July 31, 1936 in Abbeville, La to Clay and Eleanor (Perez) Boullion. She married David Trosclair on November 22, 1986 in Lake Charles. She was preceded in death by her parents, and four siblings, Jules and Louis Boullion, Mary Sauer and Irene Boudreaux.

Surviving is her husband David of Lake Charles, two sons, Jon (Sandy) Hazelwood of Oshkosh, WI and Michael Hazelwood of Sulphur; three daughters, Janice (Allen) Raymond of Sulphur, Linda Laughlin of GA, Kimberly Reeves of Galveston, TX; one brother, Paul (Valerie) Boullion of TN and one sister, Grace Vinson of Iowa. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Nellie worked for many years as a stocker at Wal-Mart until retiring.

A funeral service will be on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles. A visitation will be on Monday, January 27, 2014 from 5 to 9 pm at the Funeral Home and will resume at 8 am on Tuesday until the start of service at the Funeral Home.
