

He was born in Hemphill, Texas to Marvin O. and Eloise (Lois) Miller. He grew up and graduated from high school in Kirbyville, Texas. He has resided in Moss Bluff, Louisiana for almost 40 years. He was a retired Air Force veteran, spending over 20 years as an x-ray technician and recruiter. He was a member of the American Legion (Westlake Chapter). He also worked in the construction industry, before returning to work as an x-ray technician at Christus St. Patrick's Hospital, the last 18 years of his career. Paul enjoyed traveling, visiting the casino, collecting cars, listening to music, watching old westerns and spending time with the grandkids.
Those left to cherish his memories include his fiancée, Francis Glover of DeQuincy; his children, Paula Gaspard and husband Danny of Lake Charles, Mark Miller and wife Romy of Sulphur, Lisa Moye of Bayou Vista, Texas and Missy Burns and partner Karrie Long of Springfield, Missouri; his brother, Leon Miller and wife Judy of Kirbyville, Texas; fifteen grandchildren (Candace, Chris, Jeff, Michelle, Andrew, Justin, Jennifer, Alexandra, Bonnie Grace, Matthew, Laura, Megan, Ethan, Victoria and Gabrielle), nineteen great-grandchildren and a great granddaughter (Parker) and great-great-grandson (Austin) on the way, many nieces and nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Robert and his wife of 54 years, Bonnie Miller.
Funeral home visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles (Ryan Street) on Friday, May 20 from 5 pm - 8 pm and the service will be on Saturday, May 21 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
