Perry Anthony LaJaunie

Perry Anthony “Tripper” LaJaunie, 53, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016.

He was born December 9, 1962 to Roxanna LaJaunie Trosclair, in New Orleans, LA.

Tripper spent most of his life on the water, as a boat captain. He loved hunting, fishing, building anything with wood working, cooking, spending time with family and friends, and teaching his grandchildren to fish.

Tripper leaves behind his loving wife of 21 years, Holly Hendrix LaJaunie; sons, Kerry LaJaunie of Houma; Steven Venable & wife Liz of Houston, TX and Catlyn Hendrix & Clarisa of Cameron; daughters, Kera LaJaunie of Houma and Amanda Venable Mier & husband Dustin of Iowa; grandchildren, Javier, Jonathan & Emily LaJaunie, Skylar, Caisson & Caidynn Sossaman, Lillee Lasserre, Aubrie & Bryson Mier, Brody & Aubree Williams, and Remington Hendrix (due October, 2016); father, Freddie Trosclair, Jr. and wife, Antoinette; sisters, Tina Gregoire and special friend Loren, Rhonda Dupre and husband Elliott, and Juanita Broussard and husband Todd, all of Houma.

He was preceded in death by his loving Mother, Roxanna LaJaunie Trosclair and brother, Freddie Trosclair, III.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
