Rosalie Miller

She was born on August 6, 1921 in Port Arthur, TX to Frank and Kathoom Jacobs Ferris. She was preceded in death by her parents, Uncle and Aunt James G and Lillian Jacobs, siblings Effie Jamail, George Ferris, Olga MacKenroth and Edna West, husbands Franklin Keenan and Dewey Miller, grandson James C. Riley II and Great Granddaughter Ashley Tarkowski.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her six children, James Riley (Linda LeBaron), Charles Keenan and his wife Ginger, Mark Keenan, Mary Aileen Richardson and her husband Randy, Denise Keenan and Elise Keenan Cedars. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and one on the way.

She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Lake Charles and retired from the Calcasieu Parrish School Board.

A visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm on Monday, March 6, 2017 with a rosary at 6:00 pm and will resume Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 12:00 noon until time of service at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles. A funeral service will be on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Consolata Cemetery in Lake Charles.
