

Whitney "Cropo" Pradia was born to the late Lula Andrews and Randolph Pradia on February 1, 1937, in Cameron, Louisiana. He was united in matrimony to Marie Savoy. (preceded him in death). To that union they were blessed with two wonderful children, daughter, Agnes Pradia and son Dan Pradia, Sr.
Cropo was a native of Cameron which he cherished always. He was employed by the
Barge Terminal for over twenty years and later became a faith employee at Bolo Shrimp Shop. He was embraced at this family-owned business as one of their own, and he loved them immensely.
Cropo lost his mother in Hurricane Audrey, along with other family members. He lived with his very good friend Nelson Wilson for many years. After Hurricane Rita he moved with his aunt and uncle, Mary and Raphael Bargeman until God called him to his eternal home. Through them he established a relationship with God.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter Agnes Pradi4 son Dan (Monique)
Pradia, Sr., grandchildren, Shereka Pradia, John Pradia, Travis (Micah) Pradia, Dan
(Gwen) Pradia, Jr., Ten great grandchildren, aunt, Mary Bargeman, uncles, Raphael Bargeman and Norman Andrews, special friends, Nelson Wilson, Joseph (Punch) Reed, Lawrence (Bull) Nash, all of Lake Charles and host of other family and friends.
There will be a viewing on Friday, April 8, 2011, 5:00-9:00 PM. The funeral services will be Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Hixson Funeral Home, 3001 Ryan
Street, Lake Charles, LA. The Interment will be at Bargeman Memorial Cemetery in
