Alice Elaine Shuler

Alice Elaine Shuler, 84, of Lake Odessa, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Thornapple Manor in Hastings. She was born November 20, 1927 in Lake Odessa the daughter of Lewis and Mary Estella (Wilson) Robinson. Elaine graduated from Lake Odessa High School in 1946 and Riverside Nursing School in Toledo, OH. Elaine worked many years at Pennock Hospital in Hastings as a Registered Nurse before her retirement in 1989. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Robert and David Robinson; sisters, M. Oleta McArthur and Eloise Brodbeck. Surviving are her sons, Michael (Phyllis) Warrick of Lake Odessa, David (Debra) Shuler of New Bavaria, OH, William (Diana) Shuler of Defiance, OH; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren expected to arrive in November. Visitation for Elaine will be held from 3-5 pm on Sunday at Koops Funeral Chapel – Lake Odessa. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 am on Monday, preceded by one hour of visitation, at Koops Funeral Chapel – Lake Odessa. Interment Lakeside Cemetery.
