Allen R Wilcox

Allen Roger Wilcox, was born on July 8, 1946 and went to be with his Lord and Savior November 30, 2021. Allen was born in Lansing, MI and was the son of Arnold and Lois Wilcox. He served in the Navy as a Radar man aboard the USS Albany from 1968 through 1972 and then went to work at TRW in Portland, where he later met and married Joyce Andrews from Muir in 1977.

Allen was a devoted member at the Lakewood United Methodist Church. He enjoyed helping others, biking, showing his 1955 Chrysler Windsor Newport car at car shows and making /running his model railroads. He loved to show them to everyone. He had a very kind heart and will always be remembered and sadly missed by his wife of 44 years and family and friends.

Allen will be dearly missed by; his wife Joyce, sisters Annette Cole and Diane (Gary) Bushman, in-laws Charlene Wolverton, Nancy (Jerry) Hanline, Deb (Chris) Marshall, Linda (Phil) Fletcher, Doris Andrews and Chuck (Laura) Andrews.

Anyone wishing to make a contribution in memory of Allen are welcome to send them to either the Lakewood United Methodist Church Youth Group or Elara Caring-GR Hospice at 630 Kenmoor Ave., SE STE 200, GR 49546.

A Private graveside will be held.
