Eugene Pearsall

Eugene Pearsall, age 69, lost his courageous battle with leukemia on February 15, 2014. Gene was a great man who lived his life selflessly and touched the hearts and lives of all that met him. He will forever be known for that amazing ear to ear smile and always having a positive attitude, even through his battle with leukemia. Gene was an avid Nascar fan but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was the greatest father and grandpa - he lived for his two grandchildren, Kendra Smith and Christian Pearsall. He was more than a grandpa to his grandchildren he was; a taxi cab driver, best friend, his granddaughters' volleyball teams biggest fan, and a surrogate grandpa to all of his grandkids' friends as well. He will lovingly be remembered by his; ex-wife, Laurie Pearsall; children, Kim (Michael) Roon, Gene Pearsall Jr., and Kristen Pearsall; grandchildren, Christian Pearsall and Kendra Smith; siblings, Rod Lynn) Pearsall and Bev Fry. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, February 19th from 4:00-7:00 at Koops Funeral Home in Lake Odessa. There will be a gathering at Cunningham Acres in Lake Odessa with refreshments following the visitation, approximately 7:30.
