Greg J Stowell

Greg J. Stowell, age 37, of Woodland, went to be with his Lord on March 25, 2016.  He was born on July 10, 1978 to Rodger Stowell and Nancy (Offley) Parker in Hastings, MI. Greg worked as a carpenter for many years.  His customers remember how skilled Greg’s work was, and how kind he treated them. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed being with his friends and family.  His life’s passion was reading his bible and witnessing to people about our Lord and Savior. Greg will be greatly missed and remembered for his wonderful spirit, smile, sense of humor, always helping others, and his faithfulness to his God.

Greg is survived by; parents, Rodger Stowell, Nancy Parker(Bob Donovan), two brothers, Darin Stowell, Brian(Laura) Stowell, grandfather, Wayne(Joyce) Offley, step grandmother,  Norma Stowell, two aunts, Susan Pepper, Julie(Lorin) Oversmith, and uncle, Bob(Donna) Offley, many cousins, great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by; grandmothers, Janet Offley, Lucille Kruger, aunt, Mary Beth Dickinson, grandfather, Perry Stowell, uncle, Rod Pepper, and great grandmother, Eileen Burroughs.  

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 31, 2016, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Koops Funeral Chapel, Inc., Lake Odessa, MI.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016, 11:00 am at the Lakewood United Methodist Church, Lake Odessa, MI.  Burial will take place in the Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery.
