Manuel Rodriguez

Manuel Rodriguez, age 94, of Lake Odessa, Michigan passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025. Manny was born on December 24, 1930 in Austin, Tx to Francisco and Perfecta (Martinez) Rodriguez. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War stationed in Germany. Manny worked at Fisher Body for 43 years after returning from service. He was a devoted member of St. Edwards Catholic Church, Lakewood Area Lions Club and Knights of Columbus, serving in many roles. Manny was loving family man, raising 7 children and influenced many, many grandchildren.

He will be lovingly missed by his children; Micheal (Judy) Rodriguez, Vicki Rodriguez, Becky Gutierrez, Michael (Chris) Gutierrez, Kathi Rodriguez, Ramona Rodriguez, 7 step children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, siblings Seledonio (Sofia) Rodriguez, Francisco (Nancy) Rodriguez, along with many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Manny in death are his parents, wives Juanita Silva, Janie Vargas and Betty Quillan, son Danny Gutierrez, sisters Christina White and Petra Arizola, and numerous in laws.

A Memorial visitation will be held at Koops Funeral Chapel on Monday, June 9th, 2025 from 5pm until 8pm with Rosary at 7:30pm. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Edwards Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 10th, 2025 at 11am. Manny will be laid to rest in Lakeside Cemetery immediately following next to Juanita.

Donations in Manny's name can be given to St. Edwards Catholic Church.
