

Marsha attended Davenport College, where she embarked on a career as a secretary. She served in the Bankruptcy Court for approximately 35 years and was the secretary for Judge Nims for several years until his retirement. Her commitment to her work was evident throughout her long and distinguished career.
Marsha was preceded in death by her parents, Adrian and Ruth "Jepson" Potter, sisters Carol Copeland and Elsie May Potter. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, special friend Connie along with many other friends who cherished her presence and companionship.
In her personal life, Marsha had a passion for traveling and had visited most of the states in the USA. She spent 28 summers in Montana on guest ranches with her life long friend Connie, where she found joy and relaxation. Marsha also loved gardening and flowers, was an avid bird watcher, and was known for being a great cook. Marsha was also a member of Pathway Wesleyan Church in Saranac, MI enjoying worship and the many friends she made there.
Marsha's memory will be cherished by all who knew her, and her contributions to her community and loved ones will not be forgotten.
Visitation will be held on February 12, 2026 from 4-6pm at Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa. Marsha will be laid to rest in Clarksville Cemetery, and a Celebration of her life held at a later date.
