

Marsh proudly served in the US Army from 1962 to 1964 as a Kennedy Raider and worked in the transportation department driving large semis. Which led to a 33 year career driving for Meijer Distribution, along with farming. His commitment to his country was a testament to his character and dedication.
In 1985, Marsh married Patricia "Tish" Trask, with whom he shared a loving family. He will be dearly missed by his children, Becky (Michael) Hopkins, Edward (Deanna) Wondergem, and David (Meredith) Stiffler. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Taylor (Dylan) Sholts, Mackenzie (Hank) Snyder, Anna (Josh) Wyman, Marcus (Rachael) Wondergem, Kaila Wondergem, Janae (Tim) Urmanczy, and TJ Smith, as well as his great-grandchildren, Callie, Clara, Luke, Rose, Freya, Millie, and Eleanor. Marsh is also survived by his brother-in-law Larry (Barb) Trask and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Mabel Wondergem, brothers Carl and Clair Wondergem, and in-laws Merle and Bernice Trask.
Marsh was actively involved in his community, serving as the Dairy Superintendent for Eaton County 4-H and coaching the Lakewood FFA Parliamentary Procedure team to the National Finals. He found joy in fishing, hunting, camping, and traveling, pursuits that enriched his life and those around him.
Marsh's life was a tapestry of service, family, and passion for his interests, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 13th, 2026, at Koops Funeral Chapel from 5pm until 8pm. Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 14th, 2026 at 10:30am at Koops Funeral Chapel.
Donations in Marsh's name can be given to the VFW Post 4461 in Lake Odessa.
